Night curfew in Noida extended till April 30

ILNS: The district magistrate of Gautam Budh Nagar, Noida has, by a notification of April 18 (released now), said that the night curfew (8pm to 7am) in the area will now be extended to April 30. Initially, this curfew was till April 17. This has now been extended.

The entire state of Uttar Pradesh has been reeling under the growing number of Coronavirus infections and on Monday the Allahabad High Court had directed the state government that complete lockdown may be imposed in five cities. This the government did not follow and moved the Supreme Court, which today imposed an interim stay on that order of the high court.

Night curfews and partial lockdowns, however, are in place in several parts of the state.
