Allahabad HC extends interim orders passed till January 5

The Allahabad High Court on Tuesday extended the period of all interim orders issued by subordinate courts, tribunals, judicial institutions up to January 5, 2021. Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, the court extended the period of all interim orders whose period was ending during this period.

Interim orders have been extended from time to time. On August 19, 2020 detailed orders were issued to extend the period of interim orders and the period of the caveat till December 1.

The order was given by a division bench of Justice MN Bhandari and Justice SS Shamsheri.

The Court said that on October 20, 2020 detailed orders were issued. The status of coronavirus infection has not changed. In this case, the period of all interim orders is being extended till 5 January.

The next hearing of the petition will be on January 5, 2021.
